I have not attempted this before so I thought I would give it a shot. I am amazed with the outcome! I have taken a shot of my setup so that you can see just how easy it is to capture these kinds of images.
I set my Nikon D800 in manual mode and used a shutter speed of 1000/s @ F16 and the built in flash as a commander for my Nikon SB900. I have included a picture taken on my iPhone of the setup I used. Great fun and thoroughly recommended.
Taking your photography to the next level is all about understand and shaping light in order to create images that have a wow factor. It’s really not as hard as most people think and Tim Wallace shows us how it is done in this short video.
This weekend we stayed in a beautiful B+B called Park Farm House in Tollard Royal (Salisbury). The scenery alone was going to make for a superb stay however on arriving at our B + B we were greeted and welcomed by the lovely Sarah & Jasper who made our stay delightful. Highly recommended and deserves 5 stars without a doubt!

The weather today topped 32 degrees C and so the walking we had planned turned into a lots of driving with the air conditioning on full blast and a pub garden. We managed to take some lovely pictures today and look forward to your comments.
